no title (2025)

'"no title" is a brave and vulnerable evocation of the OCD experience, and I feel both honoured and proud to have seen myself reflected on stage. ' - The Dialog

THE STORY

Written, Directed, and Co-produced by Victoria Winata

'no title' follows Tom a year after the death of his mother – he’s grieving, and it’s triggered another bout of his
disorder.

Each day, Tom withdraws from family, friends and uni into himself, his grief, and his OCD, unravelling his memories one by one in an attempt to make sense of what is happening to him.

Presented at the Butterfly Club as a reading-in-motion, ‘no title’ invites audiences to connect with an honest, deeply personal and often surreal journey through loss, family and identity.

'MAY 1998' was staged at the Motley Bauhaus from 13 to 16 December and was received with rave reviews: one audience member commented "I almost cried. It's really touching and I thank you for sharing the sadness and vulnerability". Multiple audience members approached Victoria at the end of the show to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. 'MAY 1998' was above all an effort to open up conversations, not just between Indonesians, but also between people of different cultures.
